Siemens Metering Services, a division of Siemens plc, offers innovative solutions for energy and water utilities, as well as business users. These solutions cover the range of utility services, from meter maintenance through to management and analysis of the data collected.

Utility Customers

We're the UK's leading independent expert provider of metering services. We work on behalf of energy suppliers and network distributors to install, maintain and read meters, visiting over 14 million homes and businesses throughout the UK. We're therefore one of the largest organisations of our type in the UK and we're growing internationally too, particularly with our smart metering solutions, most recently in New Zealand.

We're accredited in all Elexon-regulated activities including meter operations, data collection and data aggregation. In the gas industry we're accredited with CORGI and Ofgem to provide gas meter reading and meter operations to gas suppliers and business clients.

Business Customers

We work with over 25,000 public and private sector organisations in the UK, providing metering and data services and solutions to enable them to manage consumption, control costs, reduce risks and reduce carbon emissions.

Our offering includes meter installation and maintenance; data collection, data processing and data aggregation; energy management and consultancy in new technologies like sub-metering and smart metering services.

Some of our customers have over 100 sites whereas others have fewer than 10. Whatever the size of organisation or level of energy use, customers can be sure we'll manage their metering with the same emphasis on quality and creativity.
